Country Barn Logo Redesign

Country Barn challenged SailPointe to evolve its brand logo without sacrificing the strong consumer recognition and brand equity it had built over time. The objective was to modernize the identity while preserving the visual cues customers already trusted and associated with the brand. SailPointe responded by developing three distinct logo directions, each rooted in strategic thinking and informed by more than eight conceptual explorations. These concepts examined variations in typography, iconography, and brand symbolism, allowing the team to balance heritage with a refreshed, contemporary look. The final presentation provided Country Barn with a range of thoughtful options designed to strengthen the brand’s market presence while maintaining its familiar identity.

Stage 1: Brand Foundation

Country Barn was not built on a strict “family look” system. Instead, the foundation focused on identifying key graphic elements that could consistently represent the brand across multiple product categories.

Stage 2: Visual System Development

SailPointe’s creative team established a flexible design system built around those core elements—ensuring cohesion while allowing individual SKUs to differentiate where needed (flavor, category, product type).

Stage 3: Iterative Evolution

The brand was refined over time through multiple design cycles, responding to category needs, competitive pressures, and shelf performance. Each iteration strengthened recognition and improved clarity at shelf.

Stage 4: On-Shelf Optimization

Design decisions were guided by real-world shelf context—prioritizing visibility, readability, and competitive positioning against national brands.

Stage 5: Competitive Positioning

The final system enables Country Barn to compete directly with national brands by:

  • Maintaining strong brand recognition

  • Delivering clear product communication

  • Creating a confident, cohesive shelf presence

Stage 6: Outcome

A scalable, flexible brand system that:

  • Balances consistency with variety

  • Supports expansion across categories

  • Establishes a distinct and ownable visual identity
